A quote...

"In the Middle Ages they would have burned me, now they are content to burn my books."

of Hitler burning his books

Donkey rides...free, apparently.

-
My dad is a dog trainer, and this is one of the dogs he was training with our donkey. I have another picture similar to this of a goat on top of a horse. The dog isn't mine, but it's a mini dachsund, I believe. I think he looks like a Chihuahua painted black. "iEstoy montando en el burro!" he cries...

Typo Generator

As I was trying to make a banner for my other blog, I ran across this site and thought that it was really cool. It's called TypoGenerator...you enter a subject and it creates these little collage things...sometimes they're really cool and others they're just odd. As you can see, I made one for Lemon Drops [in the sidebar]. Here are a few more that I thought were neat:

Violins

These are some pictures that I took of my violin just a minute ago...I think it's always neat to get things from different angles than people are used to.

Exciting News

I've known this news for a few weeks now, but it's still exciting nonetheless.

I get to go to Scotland! And England!

-

We're not going for over another year, but that's all the more time to save my money so that I can buy a lot of plaid things. [I'm kidding...kind of.] So anyway, the thing that really prompted me to post this [it's horribly out-of-character for me to post about myself] was that Google Earth is like the coolest thing ever. Due to my abnormal fascinations with geography combined with those of England/Scotland, I took some screen shots of some cool places I'll get to see. Here they are from the air:

-

[Below] Stonehenge from nearly 5000 ft.

-

[below] Downtown Glasgow from 22,000 ft.

-

-

[below] The London Eye from 561 ft.

-

-

So...there you have it. Hopefully we'll be able to see all of those things, but there's so much to see and so little time!

-

I'll just note that the pictures are all Copyright Google...just as to ward off any freak-outage (not that I'd expect any).

[Sort of] Back

We are on Spring Break from school, so I thought that I might post something. I've not taken too many pictures lately, and have no new wisdom to impart, here is a picture that I took the other night.

I like to write with a calligraphy pen...this is a picture of something I wrote and I realized how pretty it all was. [It's blurry for a reason, by the way. It looked too crisp with a flash.]
